Richard Neal Lindgren, 89, of Meeteetse passed away at the West Park Long Term Care Center on Dec. 14, 2015.
He was born July 24, 1926, in Pallisades, Colo., to Robert and Ruth Nelson Lindgren.

In August 1991 Richard married Hope Ewart in Meeteetse. They spent their first five years in Pueblo, Colo., later moving back to Meeteetse.
Richard was in the Korean War, he also worked as a ranch-hand in his early years. Later he worked as a federal meat inspector, the job he retired from.
Together they traveled and spent 24 years together. At the time of his death, they were both in the Long Term Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one nephew.
A celebration of life will be planned in the spring. He had many friends and family that will miss him.
